What if Cinderella never tried on the glass slipper?

This book is a fantasy book about Cinderella and how her life would have turned out if she never got to try on the glass slipper. It goes more in depth into her home life and how her step mom is a monster, same with her step sisters. You get a deeper view into Cinderella’s life and how it really wasn’t enjoyable and how without the glass slipper she might not have still ended up with the prince.

This book is a part of a collection called “twisted tales.” They are all Disney but if something was slightly twisted and how the story would have ended up going.  I got this book because it looked very cute and fun and the catch title caught my attention and I just had to read it! At first I was very entertained but then like ⅓ of the way through I got very bored! It seemed like it was just going to follow out the exact same way as the movie till it then started switching more and I was very interested once again! After I finished this I wanted to read all of the twisted tales books.
