As the school year passes and new people get introduced more new high school students start coming in. Freshmen made it here awhile ago and it has been a fun first semester. With lots of fun things happening and more people to meet and new classes. But even after they have such a fun first semester, grades are still due and it’s coming fast.
As the time and days pass we reach closer to the end of the semester, and the freshmen get done with their first semester of their high school years. Freshmen now know the stress that happens with their grades and getting all their work turned in. Silah Leazer a freshman says “I think the most stressful part is staying on top of my work, because they assign so much work.” Keeping track of the work you do and all the stuff that needs to be turned in is hard, but will feel worth it after you finally finish and turn in those assignments.
Grades are going to be submitted and there are lots of things to be done. There is almost no more time to get your grades up if you don’t do it right now. It’s almost time and the only thing that can raise those grass is doing those assignments and getting extra credit. Leanne Lopez another freshman says “Grades are the most important thing right now since it would mean a lot and just overall be a good look on the transcript.” Grades are gonna be turned in and would be your grades on your transcript and only you can change them by doing your missing assignments.
As we go farther into December there’s one more major thing that we go into. Finals. Finals are the most stressful thing for some people as well as it’s a big test to see what you’ve learned from the past months here at Hughson High School. This would also be the first time the freshman would have to take these finals. As another freshman says “The most stressful part about the end of the grading period is that I have to study for finals.” Karla Madrigal states. Getting ready for the final and turning in your missing assignments are both a tough job but it will feel great passing your classes so you don’t have to do them all over again. So make sure you keep on top of those missing assignments and keep an eye on your grades.
