This book starts out in a prison called Endovier where our main character has been kept for the last year and is meant to rot and die there. Until the king and the prince now are in need of her! She gets dragged out of her cell to talk to the prince Dorian about this competition happening in the castle to become the king’s champion, meaning she’ll finally be free from Endovier and then she’ll just have to work for the king for the next four years then she’ll finally have true freedom! She’s never truly been free ever, so she agrees to go with the prince to the Glass Castle and enter these games for her freedom!
Throne of Glass is a book series of eight books and the last one is 980 pages! And the last four are also longer books and everyone on the book side of the internet always argues about what order to read and why. And that also stressed me out because there’s different ways to read it and there’s a lot of books and they are long. So that has always kinda strayed me away from this series but I finally decided it was time and I started it and instantly fell in love with it! I wanted to read it at every given point possible, I even took it to work to read it during my 10 minute breaks and I loved everything about it!
