To continue this series of Senior Spotlight of The Class 2025 the interviewees for this week are Savanni Alcaraz and Joshua Mendez.
Savanni Alcaraz is a 17 year old senior here at Hughson High School. Savanni plans and hopes to pursue a career as a nurse after High School. She hopes to have a nice and beautiful home and a wonderful family in 10 years. Savanni’s advice for incoming students is to find a good group of friends who support you and don’t be a follower always choose to be a leader, and you are who you hang around with and who you surround yourself with. Her favorite class would most definitely be Digital Photo with Jack Bland because she always has fun in his class. Savanni would miss her friends the most after she graduates Hughson High School.
Ysabella Vasquez is a 17 year old senior here at Hughson High School. After graduating she plans on attending Modesto Junior College for 2 years of general education and moving forward in the college of her choosing to start her path towards being a computer software engineer. In 10 years from now she hopes to be living in her dream apartment preferably close to home. Ysabella’s advice to the next school year oncoming students is to stay focused and to not procrastinate. Her favorite class through high school was biology in her freshman year because she had that class with some of her best friends in the whole world before they had to move. One of her favorite memories in that class was playing uno when the teacher wasn’t looking and. Her two favorite teachers during her time here at Hughson High are Jack Bland and Nathan Govett because they were both really chill. After graduating the things she’ll miss the most are her friends and how easy the classes are.
