Would you prefer a Digital or an Analog dash? The auto industry has seen a lot of development, for over ten years now digital dashboards have taken over the cars interior, however stylistically there are groups of people who prefer the look at a analog dash.
According to Max Cruz, a junior at Hughson High School said, “I personally like digital dashboards because of updated technology.” He continued by stating that, “analog feels out of date and clunky while digital feels fresh and new.”
The opinion that digital is superior over analog is common according to Levi Wayne Deaver, a sophomore at Hughson High School who shares the same opinion. “I said digital because when you have a digital dashboard it helps you visualize more clearly what the meters give off. Another reason is digital dashboards add class and make the car feel nice and new instead of outdated. I prefer digital all together because it’s a clean and helpful option for reading the gauges or other features the car may offer.”
In my opinion I think that digital makes the car’s interior stand out much more as for the analog it doesn’t look as new or nice as newer cars with digital dashboards. I also think analog dashboards are cool in their own way as well. An example can be older cars, a lot of people, including me, like the analog dashes in these cars, but the new interiors in cars can be really nice.
Throughout the years there have been a lot of different types of cars. Cars these years have evolved in interiors with more digital screens than in the past. Preference and experience typically affects your perspective in interior designs. As observed, digital cars have more information displayed and are helpful.
