Cameron Kroll, also known as Mr. Kroll has been teaching for 25 years. Kroll’s history professor at Modesto Junior College inspired him to become a History teacher. Kroll’s favorite part about teaching is building relationships with his students and helping them to understand the history of this country.
Kroll’s favorite lessons to teach are the lessons that require the students to collaborate and work together. Mr. Kroll enjoys being a history teacher because he feels like he is the “storyteller.” For students who have special needs Mr. Kroll always tries to involve students to collaborate for better help.
Mr.Kroll’s way to deal with classroom discipline is to try to communicate with each person involved in the situation. How Kroll deals with conflicts between students is to hear them out on why they said or done something to that person. How Kroll deals with stress is to workout. Mr. Kroll states “I wake up every morning at 3:45am to workout before I go to work.”
Kroll’s advice for someone who wants to become a teacher is to build a bond with your students, to understand them better. Mr.Kroll’s favorite memory at this school is the “Grateful Graduate letters” because of how “humbling and rewarding it is to see that you made a difference in a student’s life.”
