Don Tetrick also known as Mr. Tetrick has been teaching for 27 years. Tetrick was inspired by his High school teachers and coaches to become a teacher and coach. Tetrick’s favorite part about teaching is when a student has their light bulb moment. Tetrick enjoys being a coach here at Hughson High.

If Tetrick was not a teacher he would be back in the Army and work in Military Intelligence. Tetricks way to adapt with a  student who has special  needs is to make the task easier to their liking. Tetrick’s way to deal with classroom discipline is to talk to the student or students one on one.

When Tetrick sees a student struggling he likes to pair them up with another student for help. Tetrick’s way to handle stress is to golf  either alone or with his wife. Tetrick’s advice for someone who wants to become a teacher is to be flexible with time. Tetrick’s favorite memory here at this school is being the head football coach here from 2001-2003 and being the girls golf coach since 2016.
