2003: According to FactSite.com, Ground troops from the USA, UK, Australia, and Poland invaded Iraq. 

1995: According to History.com, Tokyo subways are attacked with sarin gas.

1954: According to Onthisday.com, 1st newspaper vending machine is used (Columbia Pennsylvania)

1916: According to Timeanddate.com, Albert Einstein presents his general theory of relativity.

1861: According to Onthisday.com, An earthquake completely destroys Mendoza, Argentina.

1760: According to FactSite.com, The Great Fire of Boston destroys 349 buildings.

1345: According to History.com, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars came into alignment. Medieval scholars believed this phenomenon brought forth the Black Death.

Abigail Avina is a Junior at Hughson High School. She is sixteen years old and her birthday is on July 18th, 2008. She was born in Turlock CA. She has lived in Hughson her whole life. This will be her first year in Journalism. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys going out on family vacations and loves taking pictures. She enjoys going to many places. The beach is one of her favorite places to go with friends and family.
