This recipe is just a simpler, fun take on classic banana pudding. The difference is that instead of layering the ingredients, they are all mixed together. This ensures that you get the cookies, bananas, and marshmallows all in one bite. The flavors blend together this way, enhancing the banana flavor throughout for an added touch. It may not look as appealing as regular banana pudding, but it’s less work and tastes better, so who could go wrong.
Fluff salads are very popular in the South, and known as ambrosia. They typically include canned pineapple or mandarin, but this is a different take on a southern classic. Although it is sweet, it still counts as a salad. A salad is just a mixture of ingredients usually including a fruit or vegetable, so there are a lot of things that can qualify as a salad, including dessert.
I participated in a salad making competition recently, and I chose this because it was super fast, easy to make, and most importantly, delicious. The competition was exciting, fun, and it will probably be the closest I can get to being on Chopped. I am glad for the recipe I chose because of the amount of time it left me, and because of the taste. I was able to bring it home with me to friends and family where it was very appreciated.
