Gavin- The Huskies are dominating the TVL, we seem to be unstoppable with no team even coming close to beating us. 18-0 is a crazy score and we were locked in at the plate and on the field. We were getting hit after hit and getting on base and getting runs every inning and as you can tell it really added up. The dugout even though the team was not that good we had energy the entire game really getting into the pitchers head. And towards the end of the game some backups got in and they did not disappoint, getting hits and really showing that the Hughson Huskies are dominant no matter who you put into the game. It was a really good league game and there are many more that we are ready to win
Bryce- League has started off great for the Huskies! As we come up against another opponent in the TVL, the Orestimba Warriors, we are ready to dominate the game. We started the game off hot by getting lots of hits and driving in 2 runs in the first. Our starting pitcher Max Mankins was once again dealing on the mound pitching 4 innings with no runs allowed and 6 punchouts. At the plate in the second inning we were locked in and drove another 2 runs in to extend our lead to 4. We continued to smoke the ball and put up another 9 runs in the 4th inning and 5 more in the 5th innings to have a 18-0 lead. During our game we had 16 hits with Beau and I having 3 hits, Lawson, Carlos, and Andrew having 2 hits each and many other players having 1 hit during the game. During the last inning we had our stud closer come into the game Lawson to get the last out of the game so we can take home the win.
Landon- It was a great day for baseball and coming into this game we knew the competition would be weak and the pitching would be slow. However, this didn’t stop our hitters from delivering early. In the first inning after rolling into a double play the rally began and the hits started rolling in. Despite struggling against slower pitchers earlier in the year, today was different. Big inning after the big inning we continued to put up crooked numbers on the scoreboard. By the time I got to the plate it was sixteen to zero already and after an RBI single up the middle I eventually came around to score making it eighteen to zero which ended up being the final score. A big day on the mound from Max Mankins held Orestimba to just two hits on the day and a lot of soft contact easy for our fielders to handle. Along with that a huge day at the plate from Bryce McDaniel was a big factor to our success. The Huskies win streak continues to grow and remain in first place in the TVL after beating Ripon High in a comeback victory.
