The C6 ZR1 is a corvette model that has a supercharged LS motor and its codename is the Blue Devil. It is still one of the fastest street cars till this day. Many people do modifications to the car but it is already very powerful with everything being stock. It was produced from 2009 to 2013. For a car that was made during those years is way ahead of its time. Chevorlet designed the corvettes for the future aswell so it could age very well. 

Under the hood is a 638 horsepower supercharged Ls9 engine. It is a V8 and made in manual but many people like to swap the transmission. They do that to have faster reaction time and faster great shifts for races. For a twenty year old car having a supercharged v8 with 638 horsepower is unbeatable. New Dodge Hellcats have 707 horsepower with a supercharged V8 but the ZR1 is still faster because of the weight. It was the first factory corvette to exceed to 200 miles per hour. It produces 604 pounds of torque. It is a 6.2 liter engine. 

The C6 ZR1 is a very rare car to come by. The rarest is to find one with low mileage because they 4,000 of them but that was a very long time ago. Those cars are also very hard to not drive because they are pretty fun. Over the 5 years of production there are only 4,684 made. Some people get a normal C6 and engine swap it with a ZR1 motor but they aren’t true ZR1’s. 

They have made a C8 ZR1 that is faster than the C6. People still prefer the C6 ZR1 because the older corvette models can be modified easier. The other reason is that they like it to be unique and not new school.
