When it comes to the fight against breast cancer, every step counts. This walk helps us celebrate the survivors, families, friends, and the supporters to raise awareness for breast cancer. Jocleyn Qarqat said, “This walk helps bring all people together to help them know they are not alone in this fight against it, and to bring awareness to it.” This is more than just a walk; it is a powerful symbol of hope, unity, and strength. We want everyone to know that they are not alone and that they have people cheering them on through their experiences.
Hughson High School’s LOH Class is hosting a Breast Cancer Walk to bring everyone together. This upcoming walk is going to be on October 25th, 2025, from 9 to 10 AM. The walk will start at the high school, and everyone will meet up and walk from there. We are going to be walking 2 miles to help show our support to those who are currently battling or have survived breast cancer. There will be food/coffee vendors supporting this event. Peyton said. “We know that our community supports us through our sports teams and clubs, so we want to give back to the community by attending the Breast Cancer Walk.”
