High school halls, a buzzing maze,
Familiar faces, fleeting gaze,
A sophomore’s step, unsure yet strong,
Where I belong.
Classes stack like towering walls,
Lessons learned, and some that stall,
Friends come and go, a shifting tide,
In this place where I must hide.
Moments quick, and some feel small,
Dreams of future, after all,
Mistakes are lessons, scars are maps,
Moving forward, closing gaps.
The days go by, sometimes slow,
Learning more than I can show,
Caught between the old and new,
Trying to find my own view.
Sometimes I feel lost in the crowd,
Like my voice isn’t loud enough,
A silent hope beneath the doubt,
Struggling to stay strong and tough.
But even in the quiet moments,
There’s a spark, a flicker of hope,
A quiet voice that urges growth,
A way to climb, a way to cope.
This journey’s mine, both lost and found,
Step by step, I’m breaking ground,
Building strength from every fall,
Growing bigger, after all.
The future’s wide, a vast unknown,
But I’ll keep moving on my own,
Learning who I am each day,
Finding my path along the way.
