We have finally made it to homecoming. Even though we cant actually be together and celebrate with all the fun activities such as, floats, football games, etc. The nominees were nonetheless just as excited to be a part of this important high school tradition.

First up we have one of the freshman princess nominees, Kelsey Hensley.

Here are a few things you should know about our freshman homecoming Princess nominee, her birthday is October 20th (that’s soon, make sure to wish her a happy birthday). Her favorite color is Pink and her favorite food is Ice Cream. When asked how she felt about being nominated she responded, “I was very shocked, I didn’t know what to say or do.” She added ”I’m just very excited.”

Next we have our sophomore prince nominee, Joseph Avila. He is a Sophomore and is very involved with the school. He is In Life of a Husky, FFA-Chapter Sentinel, and is Sophomore Class President. He is also in Sound Investment, FCA, CSF, etc. While being in all these clubs he is still a great friend to everyone. He was nominated for sophomore prince and said, “I was definitely shocked. I truly didn’t expect it since I came from Hickman.” He also added, “I am so thankful to my class for nominating me! I Truly wish we were in school and could be working on floats together, but we have two more years!!”

Next we have our sophomore princess, Brooklyn Brunetti. She is a sophomore and absolutely loves traveling and hanging out with her friends and family! She enjoys Cheerleading and reading in her free time. She was nominated for Princess, and said “I was so surprised but grateful that others in my class nominated me!” She also added, “I am so grateful that I was nominated!”

Next up we have our junior nominee, Seth Harcrow. He is a Junior and is 16 years old and enjoys playing football, basketball, and all other sports. He also enjoys hanging out with friends and playing video games. He was nominated for King and said, “I was pretty shocked, when I found out I was nominated I was not expecting it.” Followed by, “Wishing the best of luck to who else got nominated.”

Personally I couldn’t have described how we are dealing with 2020 better! Well there you have it, some of this year’s homecoming nominees and their experience with being nominated.
