The Hughson Huskies are looking to tie the Escalon Cougars for first place. But they would face a Major challenge: The Riverbank Bruins. The Riverbank Bruins (4-3) are looking to keep their playoff dreams alive. In order to do this they have to overcome the white hot Hughson Huskies (6-1). The Bruins are coming off a 48-34 win over the Ripon Indians. Whereas the Hughson Huskies are coming off a 49-29 win over the Hilmar Yellowjackets. Both teams have something to prove here tonight. The Huskies are looking to tie for first place with the Escalon Cougars (7-1). While Riverbank is trying to keep their playoff dreams alive. Who will come out on top? 

The game opens with ferocity, both teams are playing with everything they have in them.  Macie Quillen started off the game with a spectacular block giving Hughson the ball. Hughson’s Makayla Bleakley opened the scoring for the game with a two-pointer. Riverbank didn’t score until Jesse Duron fouled Riverbanks number 2. She made both her free throws. Right after this foul disaster struck for Hughson. Macie Quillen had a technical foul called on her. Giving Riverbank two free shots and the ball back. Riverbank choose #1 to shoot, she made one shot.

Overall, the Hughson Lady Huskies won that game 47-44. They overcame two technical fouls called on them. A warning placed on each bench for almost starting a fight. And an elbow to the face from Riverbank”s number 1.
