Hughson High School’s 2022-2023 Girls Golf JV and Varsity teams are led by Paul Gose, who has been coaching golf since 2010.

According to coach Gose, “We scrambled and got a decent JV schedule, but changes in the schedule are always a challenge. We have a larger team than anyone in the area, so it’s a challenge to find contacts when only 6 golfers compete at a time. The rest of the season looks good.” Gose believes, “Hilmar is the early favorite.” and that his team will finish in the top 3. He ended by saying, “This is a great group of athletes that I enjoy being around.”

Peyton Avila, first year player on Hughson Huskies JV golf team, has a positive outlook on this year’s season. Avila stated, “ The season has been fantastic so far my team is doing really well.”

The Hughson Huskies girls golf team consist of Channing Coonce, Adaley Poulson, Rachelle Crawford, Amy Alvarado, Peyton Avila, Tessah Burroughs, Charisma Reed, Madison Barretta. Chole Coonce, Kylee Crarry, Sam Dowdy, Olivia Garza, Emma Mendoza, Lily Ulrich, Makayla Bleakley, Kylie Sneed and lastly Sara Parnell.
