Lesly Avila-Rodriguez, Staff Writer

In this 1980’s sci-fi classic, small-town California teen Marty McFly is thrown back into the 50’s when an experiment by his scientist friend Doc Brown goes wrong. Traveling through time in a modified DeLorean car, Marty encounters young versions of his parents, and must make sure that they fall in love or he’ll cease to exist. Even more alarming, Marty has to return to his own time and save the life of Doc Brown.

In the film, scientist Doc Brown invents a time machine from a DeLorean. Marty is the guinea pig and help test run the new time machine, He finds himself using it to escape terrorists which results into him sending himself 30 years into the past. He stumbles into his parents when they were younger, Marty tries to track down Doc Brown while also making sure his parents fall in love to make sure he does not perish.

I was introduced to this trilogy of movies when I was younger through my father who also enjoyed watching all three parts of this trilogy. What I enjoyed about this movie was the adventure it took you on, seeing Marty travel through time, and even the characters he met throughout his journey. This is a perfect trilogy to watch if you are into comedy, sci-fi and adventure. It is also perfect for anybody of any age to enjoy, to watch with family or just on your own, guaranteed to keep everyone entertained.
