As we are in the beginning of second semester, many have overwhelming feelings over finishing the school year on a good note, the idea of finals, and beginning a new school year. Last Wednesday, Huskies had an assembly to prepare balloting for classes for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. 

HHS also introduces new electives for the upcoming year. Fire Science, Broadcasting, Sports Medicine and Programming are available for all grade levels. As for the rest of elective classes, they are available for all grade levels as well, before some elective classes were restricted to some grade levels.

Sophomore Deyka Diaz expressed that her favorite classes this year are chemistry and math. “I hope I can be in art 3 and AP calculus next year. Calculus will be a challenge I am willing to take in my junior year”. She added on to say that she is also balloting for the new sports science elective being offered the next school year.
