This year’s Hughson High Band is full of amazing musicians ready to entertain the students at Hughson High and their families. These students have a lot on their plate this school year. From performances on the Ella Webb Theater to supporting our Hughson Huskies on the football field with classic songs like On Wisconsin and Seven Nation Army. HHS Band Director, Kayte Maki, is thrilled to have so many new faces join the band. She is the HHS Concert Band, Beginning Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and Drum Line director. Her love and passion of teaching and music has brought harmony into the hearts of many students. This year’s band has some exciting upcoming events that you’re not going to want to miss.
Coming up on December 5th at the Ella Webb Theater at Hughson High, the HHS Symphonic Band will be performing with the HHS Sound Investment. Songs all bringing the Christmas Spirit will be performed on stage. Everyone is welcome, bring your family, friends, neighbors, even just yourself, to this night of Christmas Music.
A show full of talent and entertainment, come by to see your fellow HHS students perform their very best at Hughson High Show Night on February 23, 2024 @6pm to show your support for those performing. The general admission fee is $10 and not only will there be amazing performances, there will also be a silent auction along with dessert after the performances.
Stop by to support your fellow classmates or friends as they perform in front of talented critics. Admission and food from the snack shacks are free. Enjoy a night full of arts provided by Hughson High’s Band and Choir. Free admission on May 13, 2024 in the Ella Webb Theater at 6pm-8pm.
