HHS teacher Mrs. Brazil said AI will have a big impact on the world.  “Huge impact, there has been a lot of difference already.” 

HHS student Aiden said, “ AI is negative, take people’s jobs” 

HHS teacher Mr. Kroll agreed saying, “Ai will eliminate a large amount of jobs.”

Mrs. Brazil said “ It will replace a lot of jobs that humans do.” 

Mr. Kroll said “ it will happen, there are certain low level jobs that ai will replace” 

Aiden thought  “no job should be replaced” 

HHS student Daniel agreed with this thought saying, ”not that I can think of.”

Two students, Aiden and Daniel said that Ai should not be used to do their work to quote Aiden, “wrong they’re not doing it themselves.”  

Daniel shared his thoughts saying “should not be allowed.” 

Teacher Mr. Kroll said, “We will lose our ability to critically think.” 

Mrs. Brazil thought they could be helpful, saying, “It can be a tool but should not do the work for people and we should not shy away from it.”

Both teachers and students alike believe real artificial intelligence would be scary with Mrs. Brazil saying, “ it’s scary, countries could use it in warfare and have ramifications that we can’t even imagine”.

Aiden commented saying it’s, “terrifying we don’t need that” 

Daniel agreed calling true Ai “dangerous” 

Mr. Kroll stated, “if we ever reach true ai that will be a terrifying moment”
