On Friday, September 8, the Hughson Huskies played the Downey Knights on our home field winning the game 34-20. It was their 4th game of the season, making the Hughson Huskies 4-0. The Hughson Huskies JV team came out and showed everyone that they wanted this win. The Huskies defense was unmatched and carried their team throughout the game. The football players felt that they had an advantage being on our own field. Starting outside linebacker Brandon Switzer said, “our defense really carried this game for us, but our offense needs a lot of work.”
Overall a great game and season so far for the Hughson Huskies JV football team.
