On Friday September 15th 2023 Hughson Huskies JV played Elite on their home field for their homecoming game. The Hughson Huskies JV team beat Elite 41-0 making them 5-0. The Hughson Huskies JV’s team has some of the best defense in our league with a very commendable offense. By the end of halftime the Hughson Huskies were winning 27-0.

Starting quarterback and running back Brandon Switzer said “Our biggest problem is just working on the little things making sure we run our routes right, making sure the ball gets to the right person at the right time, and making sure that our team is communicating as they should be.” Starting defensive tackle Luke Berdion says “By watching film we knew that they were not the best, all we needed to do was go in there try our best and keep good tempo, I think there’s always room for improvement but it’s hard to tell where to improve with a game with a team that bad.” The starting quarterback coach Rich Berdion said “The entire team did a good job. We just need to work on our communication and executing plays.”
