The HHS Homecoming Parade is an annual event put together by the people of Hughson. There are floats with amazing designs that carry football, cheer, and other sport groups. - Pep Band Games – 9/15, 9/29,10,13 @6 PM
Pep Band games for the Football Games are one of the most funnest and popular events that happen at Hughson High. They are filled with spirit and energy by not only the players and cheerleaders but the student section and band. - Haunted House – 10/30-31 @12 PM
The Haunted House is a new tradition at HHS that ASB and Huskie Leadership puts together on the week of Halloween for the HHS Students. Many students and teachers love to take the risk and make their way through the house. - Homecoming Dance – 9/14 @8 PM
HHS always has a yearly dance during the homecoming week. This year’s theme is “Out of This World.”d Students can dress up in their alien attire and dance the night away with their groovy dance moves. - Christmas Parade – 12/22 Sep 12, 2023 1:00 PM
The Christmas Parade is an annual event that happens in downtown Hughson. Floats decorated with the spirit of Christmas parade downtown throwing candy canes and candy at the children and families watching on the sidewalks. The HHS Winter Concert is an annual concert put together by the HHS Band and Choir. They perform songs related to the spirit of Christmas as well as a play put on by the Choir. - HHS Show Nite – 2/23 Sep 12, 2023 6:00 PM The HHS Show Nite is put on every year by the HHS Choir and the HHS Band where performers show their talents either by themselves or in groups. The general admission is $10.
- Night Of The Arts – 5/13 Sep 12, 2023 6:00 PM The HHS Night of The Arts is a performance of talent put on by the HHS Band and Choir. Both the Band and Choir perform songs they have been working on for months.
- HHS Prom – TBD
HHS Prom is a yearly event that takes place at different venues each year. The Seniors and Juniors party the night away with their friends; while Sophomores and Freshman can get invited, they can only arrive on invitation. - HHS Grad Night/Disney trip – 5/20 Sep 13, 2023 5:00 AM
The HHS Grad Night or Disney Trip is a field trip for only seniors where they travel to Disneyland in Los Angeles, Anaheim. This is where they spend all day with their friends and enjoy their senior year as it gets closer to graduation day. - HHS Graduation – 5/30 Sep 12, 2023 6:00 PM

Jesenya Arredondo is a 16 year-old senior at Hughson High School. She was born in Santa Cruz California and moved to Hughson California in the 4th grade. Some of her hobbies include band, in which she plays the Flute and Tenor Drum as well as in the process of learning Obeo, Alto Saxaphone, and Tuba. She also enjoys eating, like everyone, her favortite food is Quesabirria. She has 6 brothers, and 1 sister in law, she also is the 3rd oldest.
She has plans to become a Criminal Defense Lawyer in her future as well as keep up with her instruments in her down time. Many of her interests have to do with conflicts and debates around the world, or even in her own town. One of her best friends, aka her child, is August. He is a Bombay breed and is 1 year old. He was found at a hotel dumpster by her older brother and he was then brought to her, along with his sister who is now with her older brother. Some more of her interests are animals, music, and sports; especially European and American football.
