Hughson High School was interviewed on their musical preferences, here is what they had to say. 

Alexander Medina : “I listen to anything except for country music, but mostly rap. For artists, I listen to Eminem.”

Oscar Barron : “I like old school rap and drill. Like Mike Jones, BLXX, King Von.”

Jaeden Dalit : “I like R&B, like Kali Uchis.”

Alessandro Pimentel : “I like rap, but mostly Drake, for sure Drake.”

Mr. Garza : “I like all kinds of music, it depends on the mood. I like classical music, I like jazz, I like country, I like R&B. But if I had a go to music genre, it would be 90’s music. In the 90’s, it would be Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Sound Garden.”

Noeli Gomez Orozco : “I listen to phonk. The artist I like is Odetari, I don’t know what genre he is.” (Electronic)

Dexter Barajas : “Uh I like Frank Ocean, Daniel Caesar, Brenton Wood, Nujabes, and yeah.”

Kaden Calk : “I like Psychedelic metal / trance, and my favorite artist is Infected Mushroom. 

Alexander Jimenez : “Uhhh Cheese? But I like Jazz and uhh Corner Price I don’t know.”

Rodolfo Perez-Rodriguez : “My favorite genre? Uh, I listen to Mexican music and my favorite artist is Grupo Frontera.”

Jayden Huerta : ‘I don’t know, just drake.“

Samuel Moore : “I listen to just rap, I don’t have a preferred artist.”

Miguel Castillo : “I listen to Drake, Kanye, and Jay Z.”

Eduardo Yanez : “My kind of music is rap and Drake.”

Ryan DeKleva : “I like Rock and Foo Fighters.”

Mr. Sexton : “I listen to everything, but if I had to choose, Classical rock. I really don’t have a favorite artist.”

Mrs. Tavernier : “If I had to choose one, it would be country music. And I really don’t have a favorite artist.”

Mr. Govett : “I love so many types of music, the only music I don’t like is the modern country. I listen to Beach Fossils because they get me to listen to other groups.”
