One of the top performers last week against Escalon was Alexander Villarreal. He had 106 yards and a touchdown while averaging 10.6 yards a carry. Alexander said, “I felt nervous and good.” He also said, “I felt like what we were doing was good and it was working.” Villarreal said, “I think we performed good and everyone was doing their jobs.” The senior running back said, “I performed pretty good and could have done better.” He also said, “I feel good and I like the plays we’re doing and I feel good going into the game.”
Another one of the well performing players from last week’s rivalry game against Escalon was Carlos Guizar. When being asked about how he felt he did in the last game he responded with, “I felt I did good on both sides of the ball and did my job well.” Carlos Guizar also said what his favorite moment was during the game and it was “My favorite moment was when I solo tackled a receiver on a screen when they were close to scoring.” He also describes how he feels heading into next week” I am excited because a win feels a lot better when you’re someone else’s homecoming, I feel very prepared and confident.” Carlos also said he feels that the season has been “good and productive” so far.
