A few months ago in March, students from HHS got the opportunity to choose who they wanted to represent for their Associated Student Body Class. Priyana Prasad, a freshman at Hughson High School, got voted in as the Freshman Class President.
Regarding pros and cons about being the Freshman Class President, Prasad added, “pro’s is that I get a inside look at the upcoming events happening throughout the year but the cons is that there’s times I don’t get to enjoy it as much because I’m usually running the event.”
As for upcoming events and things that are going to happen this year, Prasad commented, “the Halloween haunted houses, hosting japanese students, and holiday drives.”
As for what inspired Prasad to be a part of Hughson’s student leadership, she stated, “some former friends who were part of this class and had always mentioned how much fun they had.”
As for activities and projects that Prasad is currently working on to represent her class, she commented, “the class haunted houses.”
