After interviewing Hughson High students about their ideal teacher, a common theme surfaced, the power of inspiration. Each student had a unique perspective on who they would choose and why.
One student, Victoria Violette, a junior, expressed how she would choose Adam Sandler as her teacher, “he is very successful,” she says. Violette explained she could become successful too from his advice and states how he is also a very funny person.
Another student, Adrian Andrade, a senior, with love for sports, said how he would choose Kevin Hart as his teacher because “it would be a stress free class, it’s something I would always look forward to in the day.”
While another student, Paige Watson, a junior, said she would like if Donald Trump was her teacher “Trump is a smart and wise man, who would give me great advice and would always want what’s best for me.”
Olivia Piazza, a sophomore, explains she would choose Albert Einstein as her teacher “he is very smart and would explain things in great depth.” She also says how she would get smarter as a person learning from him.
Overall the students’ choices reflect a deep appreciation for teachers who inspire. The impact of a great teacher is clear. Their responses remind us of the influence educators can have on shaping young minds and futures.
