As the holiday season approaches, excitement fills the air, and the hunt for the perfect Christmas gift begins. To get a sense of what’s trending this year, we interviewed several students to find out what’s on their wish lists and what they think will be the hottest gifts of the season. 

Getting into the festive spirit, we dove into the holiday gift scene by chatting with students to uncover the most wished for items on their lists. Let’s explore what’s causing a talk and shaping up the hottest gifts according to these young trendsetters.

Our conversation started with Josie Trumble, a sophomore, shedding light on the popularity of digital cameras. “I love taking pictures and photography in general, they are a hit this Christmas for sure,” she said. Another student, Jill Baptista, a junior, told us about a gift that would capture the hearts of many. “I would love a dog, a black lab, I would really like it as a hunting dog,” she explained. 

Continuing our quest for the top Christmas gifts, Lily Scarioni, a sophomore, told us another item that has been trending a lot this year. “I would love a stuffed animal, jellycat animals specifically, they are extremely trendy and cute!” Scarioni told us. Next we interviewed Cristal Galvan, a junior who kept it simple. “I would like a black Essentials Hoodie, I just love hoodies and they are super comfy, and I need some new ones,” she explained. Lastly, Valerie Cabral, a freshman, told us her love for beauty. “I would love a new vanity, the one I have currently is small and it’s just time for a change!” Cabral said.

Whether it was electronics, clothes, stuffed animals or real animals, there’s something special for everyone on your list.
