Madden Nobles, a Girls’ Golf player, is entering her senior year on the varsity team. As of last year, Madden was ranked number three overall in the league. She started playing golf her sophomore year of high school and has played sports since she was about four. According to Madden, “Lots of practice on my own time, along with hard work and determination, led me to the level that I’m at today.”
She is an exceptional student-athlete, maintaining at or above a 4.0 GPA while also participating in golf and soccer, along with either tennis or track. “Honestly, I spend more time with athletics, and any chance I have to go to before-school tutoring or get help at school, I take that,” she explained.
One of Madden’s teammates, Katelynn Loveland, said, “Madden has been a huge part of my golf career. She is always able to lend a helping hand, whether it’s with my golf skills or if she is giving me tips on my swing. Madden sets a very good example for not only our varsity girls but also our JV girls as well.”
For the spectators at Hughson High, watching Madden compete in sports throughout the years has been a joy, and they look forward to seeing what she will continue to bring to HHS.
