The time has finally come after a long year without sports. Sports are gearing back up and practices are in full swing.This is exciting news for those who participate in these upcoming sports for many more reasons then we can imagine. 

Although there are still a variety of different sports that did not take place this year and still a good number of athletes that would have loved to have seen a season of their own are seeing good signs for the upcoming year.

Cole West, a Hughson high track participant said, “They do a good job social distancing everyone and I’m glad we are getting to start at all. I just wish we could’ve started earlier.”

 Daniel Rivera a Hughson high tennis player said, ”I feel like it’s better for me instead of being locked up in home” 

From the post on social media and the excitement in their voices the student athletes and students of Hughson High couldn’t be happier to see their school open back up slowly but surely we are headed in the right direction.
