On Friday, September 23, we had our Homecoming football game against Livingston. During the halftime of both the JV and Varsity games, the Homecoming winners were announced.

Freshman Prince Cesar Chon’s response to him winning was, “I was surprised that I was nominated in my first year in high school.” Then, when talking about how he felt after the big win he said, “After I won the crown I was feeling thankful for all my friends who got people to nominate me.” Afterwards he said he celebrated with his friends by taking pictures.

Next we have the Sophomore Prince, Isayah Lopez. He said he was feeling a mixture of being excited and nervous at the same time. Before his win he wasn’t too sure it was going to be him. He stated, “I didn’t think I would win because it’s just something I just thought wouldn’t happen.” However, he said he will cherish the win forever and is very glad he did win. Afterwards with family friends he went to eat at Agave Azul.

For the Junior Princess, Natalie Wohler won, wearing a beautiful red dress. She claimed she did not think she was going to win but when she did she “felt cool.” Then after the win she celebrated at In N Out.

Lastly, for Junior Prince, Anthony Villarreal ended up winning. He said he didn’t think he was going to win because his opponents were really well known. After he won he said he was excited but it was also nerve racking seeing everyone in the crowd. Afterwards he finished up the game and won.
