Husky Poems: Lies

Hailey Dimter, Staff Writer

Lies flood a mind

Can’t be escaped like an overwhelming tide

Why do people say the things do

Is it because when they lie you have no clue

It hurts and stabs and does what one can’t undo

If lies were as obvious as facial expressions

Lies should be considered acts of transgression

Some people use it like a profession

It becomes there obscene obsession
