Ms. Kahlon: 3 years.
Miguel Castillo: Why did you choose Hughson High?
Ms. Kahlon: It is a community very close to home.
Miguel Castillo: What’s something you love about our community?
Ms. Kahlon: There is a great sense of togetherness and shared school spirit among everyone in the community.
Miguel Castillo: What’s your favorite thing about being a teacher?
Ms. Kahlon: Making connections with students and witnessing ‘aha’ moments when something new is learned.
Miguel Castillo: What’s the best piece of advice you can give students/teachers/etc?
Ms. Kahlon: Success is dependent on effort.
Miguel Castillo: Who is someone you look up to?
Ms. Kahlon: My parents.
Miguel Castillo: Why did you choose to teach?
Ms. Kahlon: I enjoy helping students work towards being successful in class, so that they can work towards being successful in achieving their life goals.
