FFA Toy Drive

Xavier Pabon, Staff Writer

The FFA toy drive has begun! The Hughson FFA Chapter has requested that people bring in new, unused toys to donate to the FFA toy drive. Beginning December 4th, the drive will run until December 13th.  Hughson FFA will only be accepting new, unused toys. All toys will go to The St. Anthony/Hughson Community Basket Project, so families that can’t afford a nice Christmas can get a helping hand from the community during the holidays. Along with this, Mrs. Larson specifies that bringing in a toy doesn’t just apply to FFA members, but anyone who wants to help give a family an amazing Christmas.

“Hughson FFA are very proud to help our community this time of year, and we enjoy knowing that we helped make a family’s Christmas brighter,” says Kelly Larson, a teacher in the Ag. department at Hughson High School.

According to Larson, the school has been contributing to the toy drive for over 20 years. The FFA would like to encourage everyone, including our readers, to donate a toy to the FFA, so that you can help make the holidays more festive for families in need.
