Congratulations to Deagan Bell for being HHS’s male athlete of the week! Deagan is a senior on our Varsity Basketball Team and he is quite the player to watch. He is one of the best defensive players on the HHS varsity basketball team and we love seeing those blocks. One of the top performers at this week’s game against Hilmar was Deagan. At this week’s Hilmar game Deagan had the crowd roaring with his amazing dunk which was one of the highlights of this game. Friend and Teammate JC Lupercio says,”Deagan is him. And he dunked!” Hughson High has been loving watching Deagan play this season and we are so ready to see how this basketball season goes for him. Congratulations Deagan for keep up the killer work.

Finley Wells is in 11th grade. She is 16 years old. This is her first year of journalism. She really enjoys hanging with her sister Presley and her best friend Sophia, they remind her that there is always a reason to be happy and they always make her laugh hysterically. Finley loves to travel, she hopes to travel the whole world especially Europe. She absolutely loves sushi and Dr. Pepper, she could literally live off of it. Finley loves taking pictures and writing it helps clear her mind and let her express how she feels. Finley's favorite thing to do is laugh, eat, and listen to music. Finley looks up to her younger cousin Morgan because he taught her to live every minute the Lord gives her to the fullest.

Kyle Young is a 16 year old junior in the Class of 2025. Kyle plays basketball for the HHS team. His hobbies include playing basketball, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends. His goals after highschool are to become a nurse.
