On October 30th, the Lady Huskies played an impressive match against the Union Mine Diamondbacks! The team swept the Diamondbacks in three sets, winning 25-17, 25-23, and 25-18.

All season, these athletes have been working hard to climb to the top of the leaderboard, and last night’s performance showed just how much their effort is paying off. Junior Olivia Piazza stood out with an incredible 13 kills, while Freshman Addison Yarbrough impressed fans with her strong serves and solid defense. Stella Brown also brought her talents to the floor, not only with her volleyball skills, but also when she sang the national anthem as the opener to the game.

The Lady Huskies are now preparing for their next matchup against West Campus on November 4th in the semifinals. “All Semifinalists go to the state tournament so win or lose, we will keep moving forward!” Principal Loren Lighthall announced.

We can’t wait to see what else this talented team will accomplish this season.
