Christiana Bylsma is a Hughson High School basketball player entering her sophomore year on the varsity team. She began playing basketball around sixth grade. When asked what she enjoys most about playing for the high school team, Christiana said she loves “having fun with my teammates and encouraging each other.”
Bylsma is a strong student-athlete, maintaining excellent grades with a 3.9 GPA. In addition to basketball, she also plays flag football and tennis. On the court, she plays as a shooting guard, saying, “I like shooting when I have the open shot.”
Her friends and teammates describe her as supportive and uplifting. Friend Violet Blake says, “Christiana is very encouraging and such a great friend.” Fellow teammate Lila Miranda adds, “Christiana is always encouraging her teammates to be the best version of themselves.”
