Shayna Pardiwala is taking Advanced Floral as one of her electives. She explained how Floral is a fun and useful class, where she can be creative and learn more about agriculture and flowers, along with skills.
To some, Floral may seem like just learning about flowers and making arrangements, and although that is a major part of it, there is much more. In Floral, Shayna explains how she learns about, “Handling flowers, different types of flowers, color combinations, and real-life skills like customer service and being able to work under pressure.”
Shayna also tries to attend the FFA meetings that happen almost every month. In these meetings, FFA officers inform everyone about new and future events and updates within the FFA department.
