Lila Miranda, a girls’ basketball player, is entering her sophomore year on the varsity team. Miranda started playing basketball when she was about four years old. When asked what she enjoys most about the sport, Lila said, “I like playing with a team.”

She is an outstanding student-athlete, maintaining an impressive 4.0 GPA. Miranda plays basketball year-round and competes in an outside league, Cen Cal Merced, to stay well-trained and prepared for the upcoming season. On the court, Lila plays point guard, where her leadership and court awareness stand out.

Teammates speak highly of Miranda both on and off the court. Fellow teammate Ivorey Moffatt shared, “Lila is a great person on and off the court. She is always someone I can trust and ask questions to because she is always willing to help. Lila gives 100% effort and is always trying to be the best she can be.” Another close teammate, Christiana Bylsma, added, “Lila is such a good teammate and always keeps the energy up on the court.”
